Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida

Here in Central Florida, the Boys & Girls Clubs started serving our youth in 1944, and have since grown to 36 clubs across our region serving more than 11,000 club members.

Boys & Girls Clubs provide mentorship and activities after school, during the summer, and at other crucial times for families. Their Core Programs include Health & Life Skills, Character & Leadership Development, Education and Career Development, and Fitness & Recreation.

They offer a variety of programs that introduce club members to career and educational opportunities & help them make plans for the future. One of the Education and Career Development programs is dedicated to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

The STEM Program is closing the opportunity gap in science, technology, engineering and mathematics with innovative and creative programs, activity ideas and resources for Clubs and the youth they serve. After-school and summer learning environments provide unique opportunities to advance STEM knowledge and increase interest in STEM-related careers.

The STEM Gift Drive will provide high-quality STEM-themed toys, games, and books that will be given to club members identified as having an interest and to programs and activities held at the clubs.
