About the STEM Gift Drive
STEM Gift Drive is a volunteer-led community initiative, not a charitable organization that directly receives tax-deductible monetary contributions. Each authorized STEM Gift Drive community works with an approved charitable beneficiary under a written agreement. Gifts collected through a local campaign are provided to that community’s designated beneficiary for distribution.
When monetary giving opportunities are offered, donors are directed to the charitable beneficiary’s own giving platform. STEM Gift Drive does not directly receive or process those monetary donations.
Once gifts are transferred to the designated charitable beneficiary, decisions regarding their final distribution are made by that organization in accordance with its programs and policies. STEM Gift Drive cannot guarantee that a particular donated item will be provided to a particular child, program, location, or recipient.
Charitable Contributions & Tax Receipts
Charitable acknowledgments and tax receipts, when available, are issued by the charitable organization receiving the contribution—not by STEM Gift Drive. STEM Gift Drive does not determine whether any gift or contribution is tax deductible. Donors seeking tax or financial guidance should consult an appropriate professional.
The STEM Gift Drive provides a Donation Record form to be submitted with gifts. This form can be anonymous, or it can provide contact information for the charitable agency to send a receipt for gifts donated.
For noncash gifts, the charitable beneficiary may acknowledge receipt and describe the property donated but generally does not determine its value for tax purposes. Donors are responsible for determining and documenting any value claimed as a charitable deduction and should consult a qualified tax professional when appropriate.
Collection Hosts, Volunteers & Community Partners
Businesses, organizations, volunteers, collection hosts, and other campaign participants remain independent organizations or individuals. Participation in a STEM Gift Drive campaign does not create an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or franchise relationship with STEM Gift Drive. Donors, collection hosts, and participating organizations are participants in the campaign, not agents or representatives authorized to bind STEM Gift Drive.
Collection locations establish their own operating hours, accessibility, site rules, and other business practices. Visitors should confirm location-specific information directly with the host when appropriate.
Gift Guidelines & Product Safety
STEM Gift Drive provides gift ideas and educational resources to help donors identify STEM-related items. Inclusion in a Gift Guide, wish list, flyer, website, or other resource does not constitute a warranty or certification of a product’s safety, quality, educational value, or suitability for a particular child.
Donors should follow manufacturer age recommendations, warnings, instructions, and applicable safety guidance. STEM Gift Drive and its charitable beneficiaries may decline, redirect, or dispose of items that do not meet campaign requirements or are inappropriate for distribution.
Third-Party Websites, Products & Services
STEMGiftDrive.org may link to websites, products, retailers, charitable organizations, community partners, and other third parties for convenience or informational purposes. Unless expressly stated, a link or reference does not constitute an endorsement, sponsorship, or guarantee of the third party or its products, services, policies, or content.
STEM Gift Drive Name, Logo & Campaign Materials
STEM Gift Drive provides certain logos, flyers, graphics, and campaign materials for supporters to use in promoting authorized participation in the campaign. These materials may be shared and reproduced for that purpose but may not be sold, substantially altered, used to promote unrelated activities, or used in a way that implies sponsorship, endorsement, charitable status, or authorization that does not exist.
The STEM Gift Drive name, logos, designs, original text, graphics, and other original materials remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. Third-party logos and trademarks appearing on the site remain the property of their respective owners.
Use of STEM Gift Drive materials does not authorize an individual or organization to establish or operate an independent STEM Gift Drive campaign, community, chapter, fundraiser, or charitable organization. New STEM Gift Drive communities and campaigns may operate under the STEM Gift Drive name only with written authorization.
Businesses and organizations may not use the STEM Gift Drive name or branding in a commercial promotion, cause-marketing campaign, or promotion representing that purchases or sales proceeds will benefit STEM Gift Drive or one of its charitable beneficiaries without prior written approval.
Photos & Media
Photographs and video appearing on STEMGiftDrive.org or our social media channels may include campaign volunteers, supporters, community partners, and recipients and are used with permission or supplied by organizations authorized to provide them. Images may not be downloaded, copied, republished, or used for unrelated purposes solely because they appear on this website.
When photographs, video, testimonials, or other campaign content are voluntarily submitted to STEM Gift Drive for sharing or promotion, the person submitting the material represents that they have the right and necessary permission to provide it for that purpose. Please do not submit identifiable photographs or video of minors unless you are authorized to permit their use. STEM Gift Drive may decline to publish submitted material.
STEM Gift Drive photographs and may record video at official events to document our work, celebrate participants, share campaign impact, and promote future STEM Gift Drive activities. Images may be used on STEMGiftDrive.org, social media, newsletters, campaign materials, and other STEM Gift Drive communications.
Attendees who prefer not to appear in photographs or video may let an event organizer or volunteer know. We will make reasonable efforts to honor that request. If an identifiable photograph of you appears on a STEM Gift Drive website or social media account and you would like it removed, please contact us at STEMGiftDrive@gmail.com, and we will remove content under our control as reasonably practicable.
Removal requests apply to media under STEM Gift Drive’s control; we cannot guarantee removal of copies previously shared, downloaded, reposted, or retained by third parties.
We do not intentionally photograph or publish identifiable images of youth without appropriate permission. When minors participate in STEM Gift Drive activities, photographs showing identifiable faces will be used only when permission has been provided by a parent or guardian or by an organization authorized to provide that permission. When permission has not been obtained, we may photograph activities in ways that do not identify individual youth, such as hands-on STEM activities, gifts, displays, group activities photographed from behind, or other non-identifying images.

By submitting content, the person providing it represents that they have the right to share it and any permissions reasonably necessary for STEM Gift Drive to use it for that purpose. Photographs and video appearing on STEMGiftDrive.org may include volunteers, supporters, community partners, and recipients and may have been created by STEM Gift Drive or provided by participating organizations with permission to use them. Their appearance on our website does not place those images in the public domain or authorize others to copy or reuse them for unrelated purposes

We work to keep campaign dates, locations, links, event information, wish lists, and other information accurate and current. Information may change, and STEM Gift Drive does not guarantee that every third-party listing or external resource will remain current or available.
