WHAT TO DONATE

New STEM toys, games, books, and kits for middle- and high-school youth.

  • All gifts must be new and unwrapped.
  • Choose toys, games, books, kits, and other gifts related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
  • Our primary focus is gifts appropriate for middle- and high-school youth.
  • We especially welcome STEM gifts that reflect women and people from historically underrepresented communities in STEM and STEM-themed books in Spanish and other languages.
  • Science- or STEM-themed gift wrap and gift bags may also be donated separately. These supplies are not counted as STEM gifts in campaign totals.

Gift Donation Record Form

Help us accurately count and acknowledge your donation by completing a Gift Donation Record and bringing or sending it with your gifts. Forms will also be available at official drop-off events.

Donating through a local Amazon Wish List? You can still complete a Gift Donation Record. Email the completed form to STEMGiftDrive@gmail.com, and we’ll match it with the gifts received whenever possible.

Gifts received without a Donation Record will still be counted toward the overall campaign, but may not be credited toward an individual donor or group total.

GOOD TO KNOW

What if I receive a STEM gift intended for younger children?
Our focus is middle- and high-school youth, but we understand that collection hosts may occasionally receive appropriate STEM gifts intended for younger children. These gifts will still be provided to the local charitable beneficiary and included in the campaign’s gift count.

What if someone donates a non-STEM item?
Appropriate non-STEM gifts will still be provided to the local charitable beneficiary, but they will not be included in STEM Gift Drive reporting.

What can’t we accept?
Used, damaged, or otherwise inappropriate items cannot be distributed. We also do not accept gifts with overt political or religious messaging.
