STEM-Themed toys, games, and books for middle & high school level youth.

  • All gifts must be new and unwrapped.
  • Choose toys, games, books, kits, and other gifts related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
  • Our primary focus is gifts appropriate for middle- and high-school youth.
  • We especially welcome STEM gifts that reflect women and historically underrepresented communities in STEM.
  • STEM-themed books in Spanish and other languages are welcome.
  • Science- or STEM-themed gift wrap and gift bags may also be donated separately.
  • Donation Forms are only needed if you require a receipt from the charity for your gift.

The Greater Tampa STEM Gift Drive follows the same gift guidelines as every STEM Gift Drive community, with a special emphasis on robotics, coding, engineering, electronics, and technology-related gifts in support of CANDO’s Robotics Program.

What if I receive a STEM gift intended for younger children?
Our focus is middle- and high-school youth, but we understand that collection hosts may occasionally receive appropriate STEM gifts intended for younger children. These gifts will still be provided to the local charitable beneficiary and included in the campaign’s gift count.

What if someone donates a non-STEM item?
Appropriate non-STEM gifts will still be provided to the local charitable beneficiary, but they will not be included in STEM Gift Drive reporting.

What can’t we accept?
Used, damaged, or otherwise inappropriate items cannot be distributed. We also do not accept gifts with overt political or religious messaging.
